For over three decades, HAI Group has provided housing-focused education designed specifically for the public and the affordable housing industry. Since launching its training programs in 1995, HAI Group has helped more than 30,000 housing professionals earn certifications and supported over 5,000 housing organizations in building knowledgeable teams.
The Housing Training Institute combines industry expertise with flexible, self-paced learning that allows staff to build skills without stepping away from daily responsibilities. This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. Participants learn how the program is structured, how partnerships and capital accounts work, how resident eligibility and rents are determined, and how to avoid common compliance issues.
