For more than a decade, HAI Group employees have come together with a shared goal, helping bring a little extra joy to children and families in the communities we serve. Each year, we partner with a public housing authority to support children living in their communities through a holiday gift-giving initiative. When housing professionals support one another and work together, the impact reaches far beyond our offices.
This year, we were proud to partner with Park City Communities in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to support children and families across their housing portfolio.
At the start of the season, Park City Communities reached out to families across their housing communities to gather ideas and wish lists from children. Through our partnership, those wishes were shared with HAI Group, and thanks to a company donation and the generosity of our employees, team members were able to shop for individual children, selecting gifts tailored to each list.
Once the shopping was complete, gifts were wrapped at our office and prepared for delivery. What started as individual acts of generosity came together as a collective effort, with employees across the organization contributing their time, care, and attention to make each gift meaningful.
One of the most memorable moments of the initiative came on delivery day. With gifts packed and ready, employees filled three cars and traveled together to deliver them as a group.
Park City Communities staff expressed their gratitude for the partnership and highlighted the program's significance for families throughout their community. For many households, this effort helps relieve financial stress during the holidays and ensures children have a special holiday season.
Moments like these underscore why community partnerships are crucial. They turn collaboration into action and generosity into something tangible.
While this program has become a meaningful annual tradition at HAI Group, its impact extends far beyond a single season. It reflects our broader commitment to supporting housing organizations and the people they serve, not just through insurance and risk management solutions, but through relationships built on care, trust, and shared responsibility.
At HAI Group, we believe strong communities start with connection. By working alongside our member housing organizations, we have the opportunity to make a difference where it matters most: at home, in the communities our members serve every day.
