Cameras can support security and incident documentation, but their use in affordable housing also raises important privacy and liability questions for housing management professionals. ### The Unit Is Where the Score Is: Bringing Residents Into NSPIRE | 2:40-3:55 p.m. ET

NSPIRE puts the resident’s home at the center of the inspection. This session explores how housing providers can make residents partners in preventing unit deficiencies, including disabled smoke alarms, blocked exits, unreported leaks, and pest activity. Learn how to explain inspection expectations, encourage early reporting, and use routine visits to reinforce habits that keep units in good condition between inspections.
